- Improve the quality and suitability of educational buildings. - Ensure that the best use is made of the resources devoted to planning, building, running and maintaining educational buildings. - Give early warning of the impact on educational building of trends in education and in society as a whole.

On 22-24 February CELE will host a conference in Turku and Rauma, in Finland: A Recipe for Success: Transforming Learning Environments through Dynamic Local Partnerships. A contingent from Australia will brave the Finnish winter and make their way to the conference.

The aim of the conference is to connect public and private communities and to find new ways of cooperation. The key speakers are predominantly from the Finnish education system, which will give participants a deeper understanding of the reasons for that nation’s success in the PISA results.
