Transformance: Special Pecha Kucha preview

Transformance kicks off on May 28 with a very special evening event - Pecha Kucha: the physical and cultural landscape of Western Australia.

Through a series of quick six and a half minute presentations, an exciting and creative mix of presenters will explore the evening's theme and challenge our thinking to transform.

Hannah Galloway, landscape architect, discusses the landscape design of the new Perth Stadium;

Ruth Bott, imaginist, explores alternative ways of seeing, thinking and doing, particularly amidst environments of teaching and learning;

Iredale Pedersen Hook, architects, talk about their recent projects for indigenous communities throughout WA;

Matthew McVeigh, artist, on working with communities to overcome traditional divisions between art, performance and production;

James Eggleston analyst, on innovative and disruptive technological transitions that lead to marketplace creation;

Simon Pendal, architect, presents with a particular interest in local history, culture and landscape;

Lyndsey Sherwood, educator, shares the Bush Education programme at Hammond Park Catholic Primary School;

Paul “Yoda” Iskov, chef, on his "leave no trace" approach and his partnerships promoting the beauty and assets of each region.
