Registration now open for regional event in Melbourne

CEFPI's one day regional mini-conference in Melbourne, is now open for registration.

'More than a school: Building a true learning community at Doveton College' will take place on Friday 21st November, 9am - 3pm (Morning tea and Lunch provided)

Doveton College is an Australian first in the delivery of truly integrated community infrastructure. The “school” is built on a unique partnership between DEECD and the Colman Foundation to provide wrap-around services for the families and children in the local community. The project is the first to specifically target a community with the aim of dramatically boosting educational standards and whole-life opportunities for the children and young people of the community through early intervention, family support and community integration.

The CEFPI Day out event will offer participants a unique and very rare opportunity to tour the college while in operation, hear about the latest research into connected communities and have a discourse with the key players in the College’s development and operation.
 
The event will be followed by CEFPI AGM and the Victorian Chapter School Design Awards at the new Architecture Faculty building at the University of Melbourne.
