Victoria Chapter sponsors students to attend Conference

Published: Thursday 3 May 2012

At a recent Victorian Chapter meeting, it was agreed the Chapter would sponsor two tertiary education students to attend the CEFPI Regional Conference in May.

The students would be required to demonstrate, through a 200 word application, an interest in teacher training/pedagogy/understanding space with a facility planning focus. They would also be expected to present at the next Victorian Chapter CEFPI event, as well as contribute an article to the Victorian newsletter.

And the lucky winners are…. Celina Lee, a Masters student at the University of Melbourne, with an interest in secondary school learning spaces and Kelvin Broadway, a 4th year student at Monash University with an interest in primary school pedagogy and space.

Apart from paying their registration and conference dinner cost, the Chapter has provided Celina and Kelvin with a cheque for $500 for airfares and accommodation.

Congratulations Kelvin and Celine, we look forward to your reflections on the conference and what it means to your research.
